Art collector’s desert retreat in
Rancho Mirage, CA
When this client went shopping for a winter home in Palm Springs, he didn’t buy a production home on a golf course. Instead, he found a hidden gem off the best-known street in Rancho Mirage. We created an indoor-outdoor retreat ideal for the desert. Rooms look out to the back yard through expanses of glass, shielded from the sun by deep overhangs and trellised outdoor rooms. Materials are simple, contemporary and elegant. The home provides a showcase for the client’s extensive collection of modern art and a retreat for his family and friends.
